Thank you for being interested in me and my work. My name is Shannon McKelvey, I am a registered massage practitioner (RMP) in the state of Maryland. I have been doing body work since 2010 when I graduated from Baltimore School of Massage. During my time with a client, I try to make the entire session as effective and oriented towards my clients goals as possible. Ways I accomplish this are by creating a peaceful environment for relaxation and healing to take place. I am a traveling MT, this means I don't have a specific office that I practice out of. I am available to come to personal homes or offices, bringing the spa to you! I have a strong background with injury and deep tissue massage. Some examples of injuries that have benefited from my work are rotator cuff injuries, hip and sciatic pain, spinal disc problems, etc. When you call to book an appointment with me I will ask you a few brief questions to better prepare myself for our session. These questions may include topics such as medical history, current medications, and any previous experience with massage.
